By simple nature, I am a labeler. I should by stock in label companies and own a professional labeler. Normally I use tape and a piece of paper. Do it the cheap way. Recently the wonderful people over at www.appliedlabels.com sent me a package of kids labels for shoes and clothing. I was really excited because I am SICK of writing on my sons clothes with permanent marker. Not only does it ruin the clothes, but when the twins are bigger I can expect them to be at least a little upset that D's name is all over their clothing.
I went through D's closet and labeled all of the clothes I could, his shoes and for grins a couple toys. He got a kick out of it and has been bragging about his labels to his friends. Which is a little weird. But to each his own.
The real test was when it came time to do laundry. Cautiously loaded up our wash machine and started it. Terrified of the outcome. Will there be labels clogging the drain pipe?
