What a crazy week this has been. Birthday parties and my babies 1st birthday. Today actually. Making it my birthday too J and there is no better way to celebrate making it through the first year of raising twins that doing a review! Ok… So there are better ways… But what I am reviewing excites me enough!
Peacock Alley is a wonderful company that offers luxury bedding, bathrobes and many more wonderful cozy and comfortable things to snuggle in to after a long hard year of twins ;-).
When this wonderful package arrived at my house, it was one of those days where it was only noon and I was ready to pull my hair out. I had a splitting headache, the twins allergies were acting up and my five year old was playing the computer full blast. I was counting the minutes to bedtime, and that UPS man just HAD to ring my doorbell. Now my doorbell is not just any doorbell. It DINGS and then it DONGS. I think it is meant for a million square foot house, but instead, they put it in my little tiny house. I wanted to kill the person on the other side. I stomped up to the door, and opened it. But no one was there. Then the UPS guy stood up and almost made me pee my pants. He was simply laying the package down.
After I thanked him briskly and took the package inside, my son, who is always excited to see what I get in the mail, started jumping and squealing. But no. It was for me J. I open the box, and to my delight there laid some of the softest fabric I have felt. The wonderful people over at Peacock Alley sent me the Resort Spa Collection in Graphite which includes a bathrobe, blanket and travel pillow.
As soon as the kid's fell asleep for the night, I snuggled up in the bathrobe with a hot cup of tea and drifted off in to la-la land. There is nothing more wonderful when you are a mama who lives in a world of toys and sippies where nothing is your own, to have those moments where something is truly your own. And for a moment it was. The next day, my son claimed the blanket, my husband the robe and well… The pillow is yet to be found.
Here is what the company has to say -
"Founded in 1973, by Mary Ella Gabler, Peacock Alley has a long tradition of making the bedroom a place that speaks comfort, peace and happiness. Credited with establishing the specialty linen market in the United States, Gabler predicted the bedroom would become a multipurpose space for living, working, relaxing and sleeping. The bedroom today has become exactly what Mary Ella foresaw!
She saw a void in the market and set out to develop a line of fashionable bedding that would appeal to stylish consumers looking to dress their bedroom the same way they dressed themselves: in natural fibers, classic silhouettes and pleasing colors.
Today, the Peacock Alley bed and bath line is an ode to Mary Ella's sense of personal classic style. Every towel, sheet and sham exudes a sense of indulgence, a sense of chic style and most of all, a place of comfort. From chic luster to earthy texture, the Peacock Alley story speaks to anyone hoping to express their sense of self in their surroundings."
Well… Would you like to win a set of your own?! I know I would!
